...and the one from php.net is different for 4.1.x. Your patch
applies to 4.1.2 without rpm complaining, which I suppose is a good
sign, but can I conclude from that fact that it's reasonably likely
to be safe?
Or, put differently: do you know of any reason that I shouldn't try
just applying your patch to 4.1.2? Obviously it wouldn't be
Mitel-supported; I'd just like some indication from somebody who
knows more C, and/or more about the workings of PHP, than I do (which
doesn't take much in either case).
