Hello Justin, > > Shared resources in outlook works (very well) but with > > limited functionality if the IMAP server does not have ACL capacity. > > Which functions do not work?
If you have ACL lists then you have the ability to share resources (calendars, contacts, tasks etc) with permissions rather than a free for all approach. With ACL's there are nine permissions that can be set. It does work well without ACL's and its quick, but obviously could be better with a wider range of permissions. > For some reason when I think of ACL and IMAP "Cyrus" comes into my head. > Check it out for a starting point. Cyrus is what bynari use in their free linux package. ---> But I want to stick with SME > is very, very close to M$ SBS2000. > > Well - .........<big snip>.........charge ~$2000.00 for each and every copy of the software. :) <------- assume its about 600 point size Jon -- Please report bugs to [EMAIL PROTECTED] Please mail [EMAIL PROTECTED] (only) to discuss security issues Support for registered customers and partners to [EMAIL PROTECTED] To unsubscribe, e-mail: [EMAIL PROTECTED] For additional commands, e-mail: [EMAIL PROTECTED] Archives by mail and http://www.mail-archive.com/devinfo%40lists.e-smith.org
