I know this question may be out of bounds for this list, but I am
grasping at straws.

We are trying to allow remote users (traveling salespeople) to use the
esmith server to send email while on the road. We are using Cisco's VPN
client to come into our LAN via a Cisco PIX 506. We get authenticated
fine, we can ping anything on the LAN by name or IP, WINS seems to be
working fine. but we still can not SEND email through the esmith server
(latest version).

We get the same error we would get if we were just coming in with a
dial-up with no VPN - that the server will not allow 'relaying' from
outside the LAN.

The trouble ticket we opened with Cisco produced no results: they claim
that we are getting full authentication and services.

Any ideas, help or thoughts would be greatly appreciated.
