Hi everybody
I try to use anaconda to make several changes in the
installer, but I didn’t success to make it work. So if
anybody has information on how to make it work, it
will help me. Here are the different steps of my try

On a RedHat 7.0 box:
-> rpm the anaconda source from e-smith 5.5, made some
change (add french language and change some text)
-> build the package and obtain anaconda and
anaconda-runtime package
-> install this package
-> copy the cd from e-smith in /tmp/cd1
-> run buildinstall /tmp/cd1
-> It’s not working, because several package are
missing
-> I copy all the RPM of RedHat 7.0 minus the one
already present in SME in cd1/e-smith/RPMS
-> run anaconda-runtime/buildinstall /tmp/cd1
-> It’s not working, because several timezone can not
be found
-> Change anaconda-runtime/upd-instroot to look to the
timezone in another package (glibc-common)
-> run anaconda-runtime/buildinstall /tmp/cd1
-> now I have a error in python
if I ignore this error, the tool can not make the boot
image, because the diskette is full.

Laurent
