I'm trying to expand the WebShare contrib to authenticate against both internal SME users and external users. Currently the WebShare contrib uses an 'AuthUserFile my.htpasswd.file' for authentication of external users. My thoughts are to somehow add to this 'AuthExternal pwauth' to authenticate internal SME users as well. However, I've tried a few code attempts but no luck so far getting both to work together.
Maybe this simply is not possible however I'm more inclined to believe, 'there has to be a way'. If anyone knows how to set an httpd.conf alias fragment to authenticate using both 'AuthExternal pwauth' & 'AuthUserFile my.htpasswd.file' in the same alias fragment, please share the correct code.
