Ah yes... it's a popular concept. Exchange without exchange. My brief

The one question to which I could find or figure out an answer to, is 
can you actually use an ldap server as a global address book *that 
contains entries which are NOT users on your network?* (i.e. it contains 
your client contact details just like a typical outlook address book 
does). I know outlook can use ldap, but can I use get such foreign 
contacts INTO and OUT OF ldap?
