I know should report this to bugs.... I will once I am certain, I am 
doing the right thing!

Ok I believe I have found what is causing the issue!

In the server manager I indicated to use and a secondary SMTP server to 
send mail....

I noticed in the /etc/fetchmail file that the line appears like this:
                smtphost $SMTP

For whatever reason it doesn't put my specified SMTP into the file and I 
get fetchmail parse errors...

I then removed the SMTP setting the server-manager and setup a custom 
template to use localhost.....

Parse errors have gone!

Am I right here or what???
