Hi Guys,

what about stop arguing about who's doing what - where less than two
month past the last release - having 5.6 out now is straight forward.

We - as the "community" should help Mitel on by reporting bugs and
testing beta. I think that will get us much faster closer to the next
upcoming version with some nice and very recommended new features.

Report the bugs to [EMAIL PROTECTED] and discuss the stuff on a
technology basis on the devinfo.

Here we go, br,

Ralph

If the community were developing the software, community involvement in
scheduling *might* be appropriate. But it isn't. Never forget that
Mitel NSSG is a commercial venture of Mitel Networks Corporation.

Our approach policy is not materially different from RedHat's:

Yes, they have a public Bugzilla and a visible RawHide release, but:

1. they have a very much larger install base, and much more technically
competent beta community

2. their development staff is orders of magnitude larger than ours.

Now if you will excuse me, I'll get back to fixing bugs.
