I've added ppp-2.4.2b2-1es2.i386.rpm to the
/pub/e-smith/dev/5.6dev/updates directory on ftp.e-smith.org. A problem
was found in option negotiation which resulted in links being terminated
(with a misleading message referring to MPPE) if any options were rejected
by the connecting peer. This caused problems for some for ISDN and modem
dialup, and could conceivably have affected PPPoE connections as well,
although no such problems were reported.

Thanks to Filiipo Carletti and Rich Lafferty for their help in detecting
and tracking down the problem.
