Peter,

Greg essentially covered the matter (thanks, Greg!), but I'll just add the
following couple of notes:

The commercial version is called the "6000 Managed Application Server" and
more information can be found at:

   http://www.mitel.com/6000mas/

To the base SME Server, we add e-mail virus protection, web access control
(URL blocking), guaranteed e-mail (MX-secondary services), the easiest and
simplest setup of IPSEC VPNs you will ever see, DNS publishing, and a whole
host of software blades that provide additional functionality (instant
messaging, outbound fax server, groupware and more). There will be even
more coming down the road in the months ahead.

Peter, if you - or anyone else on this list - are interested in packaging
our product on an appliance, you are, of course, certainly welcome to
use the open source "SME Server" version. However, I think you might be
quite impressed by what the commercial version can do for your customers.
An added benefit for you, as well, is that many of the services have
subscription fees which wind up being a source of recurring revenue for
your business.

For folks on this list who have been with us since the e-smith days and
are familiar with the fact that you had to be a reseller to sell our
commercial version, there are now some new options available including the
purchase of our product through distributors such as Synnex in the U.S.
You no longer have to be a direct Mitel reseller to sell the product.

If any of this interests you - or anyone else on the list - please contact
me directly ([EMAIL PROTECTED]) and we can discuss this further.

As Greg says...

... this isn't an appropriate subject for devinfo and I'll end the thread
here.

Regards,
Dan
