I finally had some time to put together this email. There are a number of
issues I have with the current organization of CVS. I know we all have bigger
fish to fry but I thought it would be a good idea to at least send this out.
- - Naming convention. It is generally not a good idea to name modules with
uppercase characters.
- - The "Freenet" module uses no standard package conventions. I would highly
suggest following the conventions from the Jakarta projects.
http://jakarta.apache.org/site/dirlayout.html
- - Is there a reason the base package is "Freenet"? Java packages should now
have uppercase characters in them. This violates Java naming conventions. :(
If the Freenet project wants to attract other developers it is important that we
adopt some standards.
