Wot about LAN connections to 8888, 8889, 8890?  It would be convenient 
if they also were not bandwidth limited.   Though I can see that some 
people may want  a bandwidth limit if they are supplying a connection on 
8888 to someone elsewhere.  I hope, if anyone does this, they realise 
the consequences for their clients' anonymity.
