Bummer.  I thought I had worked around that in latest cvs.  Could you post 
the freenet.ini file node config created to the list.

You shouldn't need to add a services line at all, but if you do it should 
look like this:

services=mainport,nodestatus

i.e. no explict fproxy and no explicit nodeinfo.
