I was bored, so i decided to tackle freenet and windows at the same time. I am by no means a windows programmer, so a lot of this was very brute force (editing the dialog boxes for example)
I haven't actually tested this on anything other than my computer, nor has it ever seen the network due to my personal lack of refs. Current problems with it include: - very bad documentation - it dropping the % on the default values - having extra options which afaik, aren't even available anymore - having all the dialogs say it's fproxy, when it's not. - Also, on my computer, going to mainport brings up the "you are seeing this page and you aren't supposed to", but i'm hoping that isn't a real problem. Things fixed with this release over the 0.4 series: - s/fproxy/mainport - fixed services= - removed nodeinfo= lines (are these supposed to go somewhere? i just removed them entirely) - weird bugfix in NodeConfig when reading files where it would transpose the previous line's text as the value for an option. due to addition of % indirectly. my fix is almost guarenteed to be broken, since as soon as it worked at all, i stopped working on it Well, incase anyone wants to try it, have at it. http://hawk.freenetproject.org/~oierw/freenet-0.5_pre1_0.0.exe -Mathew _______________________________________________ devl mailing list [EMAIL PROTECTED] http://hawk.freenetproject.org/cgi-bin/mailman/listinfo/devl
