if you want to test it, download it and save it as freenet.jar. There are some relevant settings you may want to play with in freenet.conf/freenet.ini:
maxNodeConnections - Raise this. A _lot_. That's what nio is all about ;-)
aggressiveGC - pick a number between 10 and 60 and put it in. We're still having some memory usage problems; a smaller number will slow the node down slightly but prevent it from eating up too much memory.
of course, don't forget to remove the % at the beginning of those two lines.
Then fire up your node and enjoy the views from the environment infolet and the OpenConnectionManager.
