That should be the case with current unstable cvs. The simple/advanced
link have now become two links, possible combinations are:
[Switch to simple mode]/[Save current mode]
[Switch to simple mode]/[Unsave current mode]
[Switch to advanced mode]/[Save current mode]
[Switch to advanced mode]/[Unsave current mode]

'Save current mode' and 'Unsave current mode' links now stores/deletes a
persistant cookie (valid for a year) in your browser. Use it or ignore
it.

If the node isn't configured as a publicNode the whole server will
switch mode when 'Switch to XX' is clicked (thereby using no
session-cookies). If the node is configured as a publicNode then
sessions (and session cookies) will be used instead.

Could people please try that this works as outlined above (and as you
would expect it to work), it is possible that I might have missed some
obscure combination of situations.
