I made a recent commit with the reason given: apparently wait() can occasionally block forever on certain current JVMs. So always use the form with an argument. Hopefully this won't introduce too many bugs of its own!
I would like to point out that I am not here referring to them blocking forever in the normal sense that if they are not notified, they will continue to block. I am referring to observed bugs, where occasionally a notification may get skipped, which seems to have caused our recent NIO freeze problems. -- Matthew J Toseland - [EMAIL PROTECTED] Freenet Project Official Codemonkey - http://freenetproject.org/ ICTHUS - Nothing is impossible.
