Really weird thing ...
0) sun 1.4.2, 5009 & win2k
1) I put some custom bookmark & restart the transient node
2) all ok
3) I stop the node, put
transient=false
in the ini and restart; node is now permanent but
bookmarks are gone.
4) I change something via config panel (i.e. storesize)
and restart; the .ini now contain
# Transient nodes do not give out references to themselves, and should
# therefore not receive any requests. Set this to yes if you cannot
# receive incoming connections, or cannot keep the computer continuously
# online.
%transient=false
... an in spite off the % the node is still permanent !!!
The config panel seems to have strong ideas on what
is better for your node .... Is compiled with M$
stuff ?
