I personally don't like it, but it'll stay part of the implementation
until someone breaks it (which is pretty unlikely).  Is it not in the
spec?  ...  Checking, it _is_ in the FCP spec on the website.  I
should probably put the 'dangerous' flag in the spec to discourage
people from using it.
