update.sh is automatically updated each time if there's any changes
but I don't think any of the other files are updated(including the
windows update script)

The Windows update script will check for a new version of itself and
the freenet-cvs-snapshot.jar and can self-update.   However, it won't
check freenet-ext.jar or any other files.
