Hi,

What are you doing here? starting an edit-war on the bug tracker?
Editing the priority/milestone of loads of tickets won't help to get them
implemented... and it is spamming our inboxes (I'm still subscribed to most,
like most of us).

Changing the priority of tickets you've no business with whatsoever (you're
neither a reporter, not a contributor to that part of the code, nor even
subscribed to the ticket) is just unacceptable.

Stop doing it.

Summary: NAT-PMP support
Description:
NAT-PMP is a less awful version of UPnP - it allows an application to
request a port mapping from a NAT device, and/or discover the external
address and port of an existing mapping. Currently it's only supported by
Apple Airport routers but it's being standardised by the IETF so hopefully
it will gain wider support from NAT vendors in the next couple of years.
The protocol is based on UDP and doesn't use privileged ports. There's a
sample implementation under the Apache license but I think it uses JNI (see
2nd link below). Azureus contains a Java implementation under the GPL (see
3rd link).

Good idea. Not something I will push for for 0.7 though, although I'd be
happy to take a patch.
