On a fresh node I don’t know… I just tried it on my own node, and it took a
considerable time with multiple tries. But then, just downloading the 60MiB of
history should take a few hours for well-spread files, and I have 5 other
downloads running, so I expect half a day at least. And sadly freenet keeps
crashing on me, while I do the downloads.

Then I also found out, that my reinserting script was broken… fixed now.

I’m thinking about improving that by also regularly inserting a bootstrap
bundle which can simply be downloaded as file and contains the whole history.

Best wishes,
Arne
