Given the huge lack of documentation which we suffer, this is nice and appreciated very much :) It might seem overkill at first but one has to remember what JavaDoc is actually for: Being able to read rendered HTML documentation. Self-explanatory methods might not be self-explanatory anymore if the source code is not displayed then.
