No way is this going in quickly. Sorry, it's just too big and too
complex and affects too much core stuff.

And it has major concurrency issues and various other problems that
still need fixing.

There is lots more old code to think about merging, e.g. an ogg filter.

How much harder does auto-reformatting make merging older stuff?
