There's a whole thicket of bugs here. Doing this right is quite a lot of
work. For example, if Alice is not port forwarded, she should still be
able to send an invite to Bob, using her port-forwarded peers. This
interacts with FOAF. If you chase the links between bugs you should find
some of my ideas on this.
