I'm sure I'll be outvoted, and that's OK; but I want to state for
the record that I do not agree with the goals and philosophy of the
FSF, or with Mr. Stallman in particular.  Any code I have written
and will write in the future will be in the public domain, so it
can be used in a GNU project--but it can also be used in fully
commercial private-source projects, which I fully support.

What happens to the present code (essentially none of which is mine)
I'm not that concerned about, but I would at least like to guarantee
that the spec document, the FAQ, and other documentation remain
fully public domain.
