Yeah, both PutFiles and freenetmirror do the first, and I've been
planning on doing the second for a while.

THIS I'm not sure about. Right now it's pretty easy to CALL
freenetmirror from a cron job (that's what I do, anyways), but having
it add its own cron job...? THAT would be a big hassle, expecially
considering that many if not most publishers are going to be using
Windows or Macs.
