wrong.  Just about everyone in the above regions
except North America _cannot_ afford unNATted
broadband.

In many common situations it is also inneficient - I
for example have a fat pipe with a gestapo firewall at
the university and unrestricted access to the internet
in my home dialup.  Even if I can tunnel from the
university node to the home node (via ssh or port
mapping on top of fred) I will get access to freenet
but it will be with the speed and reliability of a
dialup.
