Okay, you're right. But a documented, standard, massively bloated library
won't ever be used. Simple is better, and something that can be
implemented in ten or twenty lines of C code is attractive for its small
size.

So stick to simple protocols, even if that means that the latest
CORBA-doodad can't automagically embed Freenet.
