Mark, Are you interested in creating a GCJ-Freenet page, from which you could link to a GCJ-Freenet .deb and .rpm, and also guidelines as to how others can get a sufficiently recent version of GCJ installed and compiling? It would be preferable to create .rpms and .debs which do not rely on Java, and that would take us one step closer to a symbiotic relationship between Debian and Freenet that the apt-get guys are so keen on.
