Ok GJ, I think that the best thing (and I am probably going to get
roasted for this - but I have a thick skin) is to place all of you
outstanding patches into the main trunk, send an email to the list
indicating that you have done this, everyone can download and test
intensively for a few hours (its SUNDAY - there is nothing else to do),
and we can try to release this evening.

0.3.7 is fucked, every minute it is on the website people are
downloading fucked versions of Freenet, and this is probably reflecting
rather negatively on the project as a whole, particularly with the
Napster/OpenNap thing which is probably driving people to Freenet in
droves. We are not ready yet, but it won't hurt if Freenet at least
shows some potential.

I would therefore rather release 0.3.7.1 ASAP even if it means flying by
the seat of our pants somewhat. It should not have taken so long to get
0.3.7.1 out the door, in fact a new ...x release should probably have
been made for each of the patches you created. ...x releases are cheap,
we can do them as soon as a patch has received a moderate amount of
review (ie. a nod from the author of the code which is being patched),
and some time in the stable tree where it can be tested.

Ian.
