I rechecked it, it never occurs on Win NT and 98SE in my case. I made
sure that the file is correct in CVS. The only change that we do to the
file is appending the port number to some entries (not even the
corrupted lines) using the standard WritePrivateProfileString Win32API
call. Nothing else changes that file, so I am completely puzzled and 
hope that my slight changes to the install config utility will prevent
any further occurences. But as I said, I was shooting in the dark and
we'll have to see if it occurs at some place in the future.

So, finally! If everything's working again and even David McNab, our
tough and strict release tester, is happy (BTW thanks David), I'll put
the final version together and change the link on the web site. No big
announcements as the freenet code stayed the same.

I hope we can declare our little Win installer crisis as overcome at
this point, yay :-))!
