I started running a win98 node from the stable branch. I've successfully inserted and requested several relatively large files (26mb). One weird thing I've noticed is that inserts run at around 590k/s and requests only get 40k/s from my linux boxen (100mbit net). Inserts nearly peg the win98 cpu at 90% and requests only get about 4%... very strange. I'm using Sun's "Classic VM (Build JDK-1.2.2-001, native threads, symcjit)"
