Actually I think it only succeeded in making your life difficult, since now you have to deal with merging a more developed branch back into the less developed HEAD, which _is_ the opposite of how CVS is supposed to work afaics ;) .. branches are for freezing, patches, and experimentation, not main development, neh? Has there really been much development going on in 0.3 lately? Doesn't seem that way.
