I agree with David.

I would rather keep www.xxx.free instead of some enormously un-remeberable
key.

For this, freeweb is way worth it.

As it is freenet is the engine of freenet, like IP is the ineternet engine
protocol.
Apps sit on top of the engine and help the user communicate more effectively
with the engine.

Freeweb is an app of freenet that meets the above objectives.

Setting a proxy is not that much of a prob.  Maybe later a more transparent
means can be devised.
But the namin is all important here.

How am I going to tell people to goto MSK at SSK@ Blah blah blah......

Its worth it to send them to http://gohere.free or
rhttp://realcoolstuff.free.

If you want the easy naming, then at least provide a better solution to say
"just use the damn URIs."

It should be easy for the average person to use and Freeweb makes that
contribution.

David needs support on this and saying just drop is really strange.
Time to drop the egos.  The freenet designers made a great engine.  Let
people like David McNab improve on it.
Better than let, help him.
