Depends on what do you rate worse: a) having some rather long living nodes being accidently transient or b) having short living dialups accidently non-transient I'd rather loose some potential nodes (a) than including many expired node references in the Freenet routing (b). The question is if you should try to become part of Freenet as a non-transient node even if you are connected *a couple of days* without dynamic DNS redirection. Any guesses what a good time span might be?
