If no serious bugs are discovered in the next few days I think we should
release 0.5pre1.

Remember, our metric for releasing 0.5 is when the 0.4 snapshots are
more stable than 0.3.9.2 (our current stable version).  My sense is that
this is the case right now but lets be sure.

It has been suggested that we release 0.4.4, but I feel that the daily
snapshots are a more effective and convenient mechanism for allowing
people to test the 0.4 series.
