Speaking purely as a freenet user this is what I'd like to see in a
user friendly Admin servlet:
The servlet should combine the Console / NodeStatus servlets as they are
now.
The Main page should include a short status of the node, sugestions for
info:
- Uptime.
- Active pooled jobs.
- Freenet server Load. (Requests pr second perhaps..)
- Fred version number.
- Active node references.
- Free space of datastore
- Total datastore space.
- Bandwidth used upstream / downstream
Then you should have links to sub pages with:
- Node Referencs status.
- Export reference.
- Datastore
- Key histogram
- Key info, (the LRU lists from the console perhaps)
- Freespace, other general info.
- Obscure numbers from the DS internals that can I scratch
my head at ;)
- Connections
- Physical connections, (Inbound / outbound)
- Bandwith used pr connection
- Total data sent / recieved pr host.
- Requests
- DataRequests pr second, and total pr node
- Data found / data not found ratios perhaps.
- Looped requests, Rejected request etc.
- InsertRequest pr second, and total pr node
- 10 Last requests with info about them
- FCP
- Info about FCP requests ?
- Admin
- Shutdown node.
- Restart node.
- Reread configuration
- Change passwords?
- Import reference into noderef table.
This is of course just a whishlist, I've got no idea how hard this would
be to implement. I'm just a freenet user that likes to look at statistics
and numbers, and this would be the ultimate servlet. ;)
