I agree, we need to seriously clean-up the way Freenet talks to the user via 
HTTP.  I suggested a while ago creating "Statlet"s, which could form part of 
a neat menu structure.  It was suggested that this is effectively 
reimplementing servlets.  I am not so sure about this, I am going to do more 
thinking about a way to add arbitrary functionality to Freenet's web 
interface neatly and conveniently.
