I disagree, the global stats provide a useful context for the per-peer stats. 
Also, in simple mode, we currently don't even show the counts of peers by type, 
which imho is taking it too far.

Hmmm, fair point. File a bug for this one, my main node doesn't have access to 
its wrapper.

The forcibly disconnected bug is something that I've fixed a bazillion times 
and it's always come back. I have no idea what the problem is until I waste 
even more time trying and failing to fix it. :( Fortunately it is much less 
common now than it was, so I guess my changes must have done some good...
