Hi, I know I'm a bit monomaniac, and that it's not a very interesting subject, but well...
Browse Freenet page : I think we should put the "Searching can be slow at the moment..." string above the search field : the user read the page up to bottom, so we're sure he'll read this before actually searching. (ok, this one is really a detail...) We should make the Visit a Freesite field more proeminent, i.e. between the search field and the bookmarks. The bookmarks will still be visible, and this field will be more visible. Friend page in advanced mode : I don't think it's a good idea to show stats on this spage, especially if they aren't darknet specific. When I switch to advanced mode in this page, it's to have more details on my peers, not to have stats I can already have in the status page. (idem on the status -> connection to strangers) Configuration : - wrapper should be Wrapper (to be consistent with the rest of the configuration page) - language choice should be under the web interface item - the menu is f*cked up when you choose advanced interface : this adds sub- menu items, which is bad (bad bad bad :p). And when I go on a new submenu item, and switch back to the simple mode, the submenu simply disappear. I don't see solution to put all the options we have, but the current behavior is wrong. One other thing : some messages (the highest priority ?) can't be cleared. Why that ? I know we want the user to see it, but we should leave it the choice to undisplay the message he wants. For those message, we could add an extra warning when he clicks on remove this warning (like "I confirm I read this message, and I understood why it's very important, but I also confirm I want to get rid of it" - I let you do the wording :p). Because it's very _very_ annoying not to be able to undisplay it : I've read it, I know what it says, I just can't do anything to change what it says (One peer forcibly disconnected...), but I don't want to be bothered by it anymore. That's all :) I know those are small "bugs", but I also know that a good ui is very important, and that the "evil is in the details" (and that small things can confuse some users). Regards, Dieppe
