I've started a GWT mockup, but it doesn't progress quickly at all (GWT
Designer is not really usable...). So I've decided to first do a basic
mockup with inkscape, so we can have something to discuss. Then, if people
want more, I'll rework on the GWT mockup, but I think there is no point
doing that yet.

I attached what I've done with inkscape (I started yesterday), keep in mind
it's still very much in progress, and that I worked on this only 1 hour,
maybe 2.

The menu is not complete, but it was just to show how I think it should be
displayed (ie, like in the minimalist theme). We should have some more items
: filesharing, network manager, network monitor (I didn't do the mockups for
those 3 yet).

Since I don't use forums, I'm not sure I can do mockups for them. Last time
I used them it seemed fine.

It really looks like the minimalist theme, with the main difference that the
menu is just a collection of links, much more like the google menu. Plus,
the WoT is integrated (renamed in Freenet account, users really don't have
to know what a WoT is).

Friends app is the last thing I was on, so it's more than basic. What we
should have:

privacy settings: what to publish to whom, basically.
user groups: by default, two user groups: WoT and 'real friends' (need to
find better names).

basic social networks things: wall, recent activity. Also, not in the
mockup, we should have chat and message (integration with mails).

And that's all for now. I hope to advance more quickly now that I don't use
GWT anymore (it's really not practical to do a mockup, since you don't have
visual feedback (GWT Designer is buggy)). I'll keep you posted. Please
comment on what I already done, especially if you think it goes in the wrong
direction.
