Another(in large project huge!) benefit is that several translators could translate the strings at same thing. When you edit 500 strings and someone else 500 other strings, in the end you can get the file which contains both changes. In fact, as Mediawiki is, the strings are automatically added to Mediawiki?s db, so other one can check them and fix them more... :) -- Terveisin, Samu Voutilainen http://smar.fi
