In order to keep the 7.0 branch alive for trivial back-ports, you might want to consider cherry-picking my patch for the clipper2 problem with gcc: https://gitlab.com/kicad/code/kicad/-/merge_requests/1834 On the other hand, I'll be moving the kicad testing copr to 8.0, hopefully later today, so it doesn't really matter for Fedora.
