Different versions of PyLint are used for different tests. PyLint 2 no longer supports legacy Python. The two sets of legacy Python tests use different versions of PyLint 1 on purpose because changing the line 97 test caused too many issues. If anyone can figure out how to update line 97 to use PyLint 1.9.3 with PyLint-s __--py3k__ flag set then we could implement that change.
