I don't have a strong opinion to decide whether we can change the field name for existing schema versions. I agree this would not cause problem for deployment but on the other hand this could cause confusion for developers who look at the code to understand how we evolve the schema (including the field name). It would be good to have one more developers to comment on this. Could @ijuma comment on this?
