Fabio any update? :)
So I have finished an implementation of the "core" component that contains basically a refactoring of the caching logic for XEclipse. The idea is to use this component as the foundation of the 1.0M2 release in order to avoid to release a 1.0M3 shortly after to fix problems in the current caching code.
I've packaged it as a simple maven project with some unit tests to show (and test) how it works.
I am attaching it to this mail for peer-review. I could put it on the SVN but actually I should repackage it as an OSGi component and I still have to experiment with the Maven-PDE plugin in order to do a proper packaging. Or alternatively I could put it temporarily in the SVN sandbox and, later, move it as an OSGi component in the XEclipse trunk.
Let me know. Cheers, Fabio
