Fixed on trunk. To fix it on your wiki, edit <xwiki webapp 
dir>/resources/js/xwiki/suggest/ajaxSuggest.js and replace
escape(this.fld.value.strip())
with
encodeURI(this.fld.value.strip())

Clean the browser cache, and it should work fine.
