On the XWiki 2.1 roadmap [1] I've seen that there are plans to migrate Blog to xwiki 2.0 syntax. Does the dev team consider using Andy Schaefer's code (I mean the 8th draft mentioned by Zhaolin) in future releases? I rather wouldn't like to use it if it won't be compatible with XWiki 2.1. I checked the latest XWiki development build and the blog is still based on 1.0 syntax. I could possibly help fix those blog issues / migrate to 2.0 syntax but I don't know in which direction shall I go now.
