Just a note to mention that I find apache sling to be relatively similar to 
what we're doing with XWiki: a web platform.

Sling is slightly more generic though whereas we're more wiki-oriented but a 
wiki system could be implemented on top of Sling. 

I'm not suggesting that we move to sling I'm mentioning it so that we're aware 
it exists and that it fits a similar need and can thus be considered a 
competitor when considering XWiki as a platform for developing collaborative 
web applications.
